Taylor Swift and Calvin Harris dating: Scottish DJ wants to 'settle down' with Red singer

Scottish singer/DJ Calvin Harris is reportedly getting serious about rumoured girlfriend, American singer/songwriter Taylor Swift.

According to Hollywood Life, Rita Ora's former boyfriend wants to settle down with the 25-year-old Shake It Off singer.

"Taylor is exactly what Calvin needs in a girlfriend. She's a wholesome, big-hearted southern belle who will do anything for her man, and that's really what he likes in a woman," a source said.

"After years of playing the field, in-between some long-term relationships, he's quite ready to settle down now. In that sense, she's the perfect influence on him because she longs for the same thing," the insider added.

Harris is also reportedly impressed with Swift's down-to-earth attitude.

"Calvin was pleasantly surprised how unaffected by her fame Taylor is and just how normal she can be," the source said. "She's a very genuine person and Calvin admires that trait because she could so easily be another spoiled diva given her success."

Swift and Harris were recently pictured shopping in Nashville, dressed similarly, both wearing grey and black.

Later, the two were spotted at a Kenny Chesney concert, getting cosy in the audience.

It was previously revealed that Swift has been single since splitting up with One Direction singer Harry Styles, after the pair dated for a whirlwind two months in 2014.

Swift has a history of dating high-profile celebrities and has previously been linked with Jake Gyllenhaal, Joe Jonas, Taylor Lautner, John Mayer, Zac Efron and Conor Kennedy.
