Taylor Swift FaceTimes with Dakota Johnson and Cara Delevingne amid Demi Lovato feud
Lovato had previously slammed Swift's girl squad as fake.
Taylor Swift may have added another famous star to her girl squad. The pop star had a FaceTime session with Fifty Shades Of Grey actress Dakota Johnson who was celebrating her 27th birthday on Tuesday. This came soon after Demi Lovato slammed the Shake It Off hitmaker's girl squad.
Delevingne posted an image on her Instagram account where she and Johnson are seen smiling in their matching white T-shirts. The 24-year-old Suicide Squad actress is holding her phone where Swift can be seen smiling at the camera.
The picture sparked rumours that the Blank Space singer is adding the Fifty Shades actress to her girl squad. The picture was posted by Delevingne just after Lovato criticised her friends.
"I don't see anybody in any sort of squad that has a normal body. It's kind of this false image of what people should look like. And what they should be like, and it's not real," she told Glamour magazine earlier this week.
In the interview, the Confident singer also slammed Swift for making a song addressing her feud with Katy Perry. "I think that having a song and a video about tearing Katy Perry down, that's not women's empowerment. We all do things that aren't, but I have to ask myself, 'Am I content with calling myself a feminist?' Yes, because I speak out."
Meanwhile, a source close to the 1989 album maker claimed that the girl squad of the 26-year-old singer is not fake. "Taylor has a tight group of women in her life that all have her and each others' back and sometimes people just want that. She thought it was unnecessary for her to make those comments. They both have never been really good friends," a source told E Online.
