The technology world, changes quicker than any other aspect of our society and the last 20 years have been no different. To celebrate 20 years in business, UK-based technology PR companies Johnson King and Blue Chew have created an infographic highlighting just how far we've come since 1992.

Who would have thought that 20 years ago, Apple, then a struggle tech company would be the most valuable company in the world. The internet had just been founded in 1992 and today 2.3bn people around the globe have access to the world wide web. In 1992 there was no such thing as a wireless data networks, today over one billion people can access a wireless network.

The past 20 years has seen the birth of some of the most recognisable brands on the planet, inlcuding Google, Amazon, Facebook and Twitter. There are over five times as many PCs on the planet now compared to 1992 and 106 million tablets, a category of product which didn't even exist 20 years ago.
