A flood of celebrities descended on the Gibson Amphitheatre in California over the weekend, for the 14th annual Teen Choice Awards. British boy band One Direction walked home with as many as four awards, and rave reviews for the debut of their new single, Best Song Ever.
Young American singer/actress Miley Cyrus was also among the winners, capping a memorable few days; the 20-year-old stunned red carpet observers in a red and black Proenza Schouler leather dress at the Los Angeles premiere of fiancé Liam Hemsworth's film Paranoia.
Meanwhile, back at the 2013 Teen Choice Awards, former Disney actress Selena Gomez looked stylish in a dark green Cushnie et Ochs ensemble with a double slit. The 21-year-old matched that with nude high-heeled Nicholas Kirkwood pumps and Neil Lane jewellery.
Cyrus, who won the Choice Summer Song award for We Can't Stop, opted for a Yves Saint Laurent outfit, featuring a leather bra under a sheer top, combined with a black studded skirt. The pop star, who celebrates her first UK No 1 this week (for We Can't Stop), also won for Choice Style Icon and Choice TV Scene Stealer (Female) for her work on Two And a Half Men.
Meanwhile, Teen Choice Awards co-host Lucy Hale (from Pretty Little Liars) looked quietly chic in an off-white Houghton top and skirt. The 24-year-old completed the outfit with matching Stuart Weitzman pumps and a Kotur clutch.
Kevin Jonas, who won an award for Choice Male Reality Star for his show Married to Jonas, looked dapper in a WRK jacket, Jacob Holston t-shirt, J Brand denim jeans and Timberland shoes. The 25-year-old musician/actor was joined by his wife Danielle, who wore a Novis dress and teamed it with Ted Baker shoes and a Me Char clutch.
Sandra Bullock, who accepted the award for Choice Summer Movie Star (Female), for her work in The Heat, looked stunning in a Antonio Berardi dress and completed the look with Casadei shoes.
American actress Brittany Snow, who plays Jenna Backstrom in Harry's Law and Chloe in Pitch Perfect, opted for an Oliver Tolentino Couture dress and carried an Oroton clutch. The 27-year-old was nominated for the Choice Movie (Hissy Fit) award (to be shared with Pitch Perfect co-stars Anna Camp, Hana Mae Lee and Rebel Wilson).
Django Unchained star Kerry Washington, who recently knocked Kate Middleton, the Duchess of Cambridge, off No 1 in Vanity Fair's Best Dressed Celebrities list for 2013, opted for a Stella McCartney dress and matched that with Christian Louboutin shoes and a Bottega Veneta bag.
English actress/model Lily Collins was also at the Teen Choice Awards and the 24-year-old star of the to-be-released The Mortal Instruments: City of Bones and City of Ashes, drew admiring glances in a black Houghton shirt, a Fausto Puglisi skirt and Brian Atwood shoes.
