The 14th annual Teen Choice Awards 2013 took place at the Gibson Amphitheatre in California on Sunday, celebrating the hottest teen icons in television, music, film, sports, fashion, comedy and the web.

British boy band One Direction stole the limelight with awards in four categories (Love Song, Music Group, Summer Tour and Group Single). The band also opened the ceremony with the debut of their new Single, Best Song Ever.

Other winners at the Teen Choice Awards included singers Selena Gomez and Miley Cyrus and actress Sandra Bullock. All the winners were chosen by fan votes.

The event, hosted by Pretty Little Liars star Lucy Hale and Darren Criss of Glee, also saw performances by Paramore, Florida Georgia Line and Demi Lovato and included a tribute to late Glee star Cory Monteith.
