Teen Mom 2's Kailyn Lowry is 'deeply in love' with new girlfriend: She 'has found her soulmate'
The Hustle and Heart author has confirmed that she is dating a woman.
Kailyn Lowry has finally found her "soulmate" in girlfriend, Dominique Potter. The Teen Mom 2 star recently revealed that she is dating a woman, and a report in Hollywood Life claimed that the couple is "deeply in love".
An insider close to the reality star told the gossip website, "Kailyn and Dominique are deeply in love, and spend all of their time together." The source also revealed whether they are living together.
"Dominique hasn't officially moved into Kailyn's place yet, but she might as well have, as she's always there," the source added. Potter also helps Lowry cope with the pressures of being a mum to three boys.
Lowry gave birth to her son Lux Russell with ex-boyfriend Chris Lopez in August. She also has two other sons — seven-year-old Isaac Elliot with ex-boyfriend Jo Rivera, and four-year-old Lincoln Marshall with ex-husband Javi Marroquin.
"Kailyn is really happy and content, Dominique is great for her, and takes a lot of the pressure off of Kailyn when it comes to the kids. Kailyn was really worried about being a single mom to three children, but having Dominique by her side has really helped alleviate her anxiety," the source was quoted as saying.
The 25-year-old MTV star, who has been in three failed relationships with her baby-fathers over the years, appears to have eventually found her soulmate, the insider said. "It's awesome having someone she loves, who is her best friend, there with her every day to share everything with, Kailyn has finally found her soulmate."
Lowry recently confirmed she is dating a woman and opened about her girlfriend on the podcast Coffee & Convos with Lindsie Chrisley. When host Chrisley asked if she has a girlfriend, Lowry said, "Yeah."
Further gushing about her new partner, she continued, "We were friends for a year and so it kind of just turned into [a romantic relationship]. So, it's not like she was trying to wine and dine me to ask me to be her girlfriend, you know what I mean? It more or less just happened."
The MTV star had addressed the rumours of her sexuality back in 2016, with a cryptic tweet She wrote on Twitter saying, "Do I have to be gay or straight? Can't I just love people?"
