Teen Mom OG: Amber Portwood opens up about her rivalry with co-star Farrah Abraham

Teen Mom OG star Amber Portwood has talked about her rivalry with co-star Farrah Abraham and what fans can expect in the "intense" new season. Season 6 premiered on 4 January 2016 at 10pm EST on MTV Network.

In an interview with Cosmopolitan, Portwood revealed that fans will see her transformation in Teen Mom OG season 6. She said, "You guys are going to see a part of my life that was a transformation, not only physically but mentally. You're also going to see me working the hardest that I probably ever have to change the relationship between me and Gary and getting my daughter back. This is going to be a pretty intense season, I feel. I can't really say season. It's a very intense part of my life."

The 25-year old star also discussed her rivalry with co-star Farrah Abraham and revealed that they have respect for each other. "Me and Farrah Abraham, we have a respect for each other. We understand each other. We know how we are, how we can be. You can't act like you don't know how Farrah is and you can't act like you don't know how I am. That's our relationship," she said.

"She won't talk s**t about me. I don't talk s**t about her. Sometimes we've connected outside of Teen Mom. She's sent me presents for me and Boo-Boo. People don't know this, but she's not this horrible person. She's Farrah. She's been this way. Let's stop acting like we don't know who she is. This is her," the reality star said.

Portwood also talked about her upcoming nuptials with her fiance Matt Baier as she excitedly said, "I am getting married October 10th. Yes, I am! I'm getting married!" and added, "It's crazy! I never thought I would get married."
