Teenage Boy on Run Following Chase Technology College Knife Attack
Police are searching for a 13-year-old boy after a pupil and teacher were allegedly attacked with a knife at a school in Worcestershire.
West Mercia Police are warning people not to approach the teenager after a 13-year-old girl and a male teacher received minor injuries at the Chase Technology College in Malvern.
The teenage suspect, believed to be a student at the school, then fled the scene and continues to be at large.
He is described as white, about 5ft 3inches, with short spiky hair and glasses. He was last seen wearing dark grey trousers, grey hooded jumper and was carrying a dark rucksack. He may also have a dark scarf covering his face.
A West Mercia Police spokesperson said: "The boy should not be approached, please call 999 if you see him. Police are concerned about the boy's welfare and would like to find him as soon as possible.
"If anyone has any information about the incident or the individual's whereabouts please call 999 and quote reference 0087s of 8 September 2014."
A Chase Technology College spokesperson added: "There has been an incident at the school, which has now been dealt with. Everyone is safe, and there is no cause for concern.
"Parents should not be alarmed by the presence of police at the site. This is a precaution and the situation is fully under control.
"Parents can be reassured that pupils are not being allowed to leave school during lunch break. The school day is continuing as normal and will close at 3pm."
