Teens die after their car crashes off bridge and explodes in a deadly drag race
Two 19-year-olds have died after their car crashed off a bridge and exploded during a deadly drag race in Keilor East, north-west of Melbourne, Australia. Ivana Clonaridis and Harley Churchill, both 19, were killed instantly when their car crashed through a bridge's safety barrier and exploded on hitting the ground.
The two had been driving back from a "hoon party" when they were "baited" into an illegal drag race on the bridge. During the race, Churchill lost control of the blue Holden utility truck travelling at around 160kmph.
Police are still searching for the Ford Falcon with Green P-plates that they think baited the two teens into racing on the bridge.
