The 2016 Thomas and Uber Cup final match of the Thomas Cup, will be broadcast live in India on Star Sports 2 and Star Sports 2 HD. Live coverage starts at 1pm local time/10:30am IST/6am BST on 22 May, Sunday.

Thomas Cup 2016

The 2016 Uber Cup was concluded after defending champions China won it after defeating South Korea 3-1 on 21 May, Saturday. The latest win was China's record 14th time they have won the Uber Cup.

After the completion of the Uber Cup, it is time for the Thomas Cup when Indonesia take on Denmark on Sunday. Japan were the defending champions and were eliminated by South Korea, who were then knocked out by Indonesia 3-1 in the semi-final.

Jonatan Christie lost the first singles match to Son Wan Ho. However, Indonesia bounced back as they went on to win two Doubles and one Singles to make sure they seal a final berth. Indonesia have won it for the record 13 times and they can extend it if they beat Denmark on Sunday.

The other semi-final was between Denmark and Malaysia, which was won by the former with a score of 3-2. After winning the first two rounds, Malaysia lost the momentum as Denmark came from behind to beat them in the second semi-final.
