Tottenham Hotspur vs Arsenal: 10 people arrested following crowd trouble in stands
Ten football supporters have been arrested following crowd trouble during the Capital One Cup game between Tottenham Hotspur and Arsenal at White Hart Lane.
Neither side will be punished after fans in the away end began tearing off the hoardings in the stands following the game, which saw Arsenal win 2-1.
Police also had to intervene during minor scuffles between the opposing fans in the North London derby. Metropolitan Police have confirmed 10 people have now been arrested on suspicion of offences including public disorder, assault and criminal damage.
The FA said they would not be taking action against either side following the disorder as it is a police issue, but both will be helping with their enquiries.
A spokesperson for Arsenal said: "We are concerned that this happened, involving a minority of fans. We will work with Tottenham Hotspur and the authorities on this."
Two goals from Mathew Flamini helped Arsenal win against their fierce rivals and they will now play Sheffield Wednesday in the next round.
