Tottenham target Marcelo Brozovic wanted by Arsenal and Chelsea claims agent
Brozovic's agent has spoken about Arsenal and Chelsea's interest in the midfielder.
Arsenal, Chelsea and Tottenham Hotspur have been handed a massive boost in their pursuit of signing Marcelo Brozovic after his agent revealed the Inter Milan midfielder is "on the market." He even admitted that the Gunners and the Blues are looking at the option of bringing the player to the Premier League this summer.
The 23-year-old was a part of the Croatia squad at the European championship in France. His form for both club and country has seen him attract interest from the Premier League as he is set to leave the Italian outfit before the end of the summer transfer window.
According to talkSPORT, Antonio Conte's side, along with north London clubs Arsenal and Tottenham are looking at the option of securing the services of the playmaker. The Mirror reports the midfielder is on Wenger's radar, while the Italian publication Calciomercato claims Inter have slapped a €30m (£25.6m, $33.6m) price tag on their player.
His agent Miroslav Bicanic has alerted potential suitors after suggesting Brozovic is looking for a transfer, only if interested clubs could agree a fee with his current employers.
"Marcelo must be considered as a player on the market and therefore on sale. But as for the details, you'd have to ask the club," Bicanic told FCInterNews.it, as quoted by talkSPORT.
"He's a great player and a great professional, and he behaves accordingly at Inter. But he would certainly do the same at any other club. We'll see in the coming days, for the moment I can't add anything else."
Brozovic joined the San Siro outfit on a one-and-a-half-year loan deal from Dinamo Zagreb in January 2015. The deal was such that Inter were forced to buy him after his loan deal expires and sign him on a permanent transfer.
The Croatian international's contract with Inter runs down in 2019. Bicanic also confirmed Arsenal and Chelsea are looking at the option of signing him this summer.
"It's true, there are many options and we are talking about some big European clubs," Bicanic told Index in Croatia, as cited by Goal.com.
"I heard that Chelsea representatives are in Milan and that Arsenal are also prepared to sign him. Inter are pushing to sell to one of these two clubs who are prepared to pay a sum that satisfies all concerned.
"However, I am currently in Zagreb and there's plenty of time before transfer deadline day. The matter is not so urgent and until Marcelo signs a contract with another club, he remains an Inter player."
