Well that brings an end to our coverage of the Champions League group stage for another season. The next time we'll pick up this competition will be in February when the last 16 stage begins. We will have the draw for you on Monday when the record five sides go into the hat.

Between then and now we'll have the concluding games from the Europa League for you tomorrow night. Arsenal take on BATE Borisov at the Emirates. But until then, it's a very goodnight.

Full time: Tottenham 3-0 Apoel

Job done for Tottenham. They progress to the Champions League last 16 with the highest points total from the group stage, with five wins and a draw from their six games. Fernando Llorente and Georges Kevin-N'Koudou got their first Spurs goals either side of Son Heung-Min's curled effort.

Five Premier League sides in the round of 16, the first time that has ever happened in the competition's history.

Now here comes Sterling, the Jamaican youngster, who replaces Dele Alli. Less than two minutes left. There shouldn't be any added on time.

Sterling has been on the touchline for around eight minutes now, with the ball yet to go out. Tottenham just playing out time, but the youngster remains frustrated.

Kazaiah Sterling about to make his Tottenham debut. Lots of firsts out there for the home side tonight. Very satisfactory evening for Pochettino, bar the head injury suffered by Danny Rose.

GOAL! Tottenham 3-0 Apoel (Georges Kevin-N'Koudou)

Another debut Tottenham goal and it comes for Georges Kevin-N'Koudou, who has been rewarded for an impressive display with the third goal. He twists and turns inside the Apoel box, uses Dele Alli as a decoy run and he fires home via a deflection.

So who could Tottenham face in the last 16? The likes of Bayern Munich and Juventus have progressed as group runners-up, but there are some more enticing ties for Spurs in the form of FC Porto, Basel, Sevilla and Shakhtar Donetsk. The draw is at 11am on Monday, 11 December.

This game has descended into the pace of a training match. Apoel have had a brief spell but that has come and gone. Tottenham in control and could score a third if they fancy it. Just running down the clock now.

Danny Rose the latest Tottenham man in the referee's notebook after he shoves Roland Sallai to the floor. Not a clever ting to do, though Rose does need some treatment on a facial injury, which blood coming from a cut.

The England man leaves the field in fact and Kyle Walker-Peters will come on.

Couldn't have said it better myself. Very impressive display.

Yellow card for Serge Aurier for going over the top of the ball amid a challenge on Aloneftis. To be honest with you, referee Giorgos Donis could have shown a red there.

Nkoudou, who has been decent down the left and he forces Perez into a good low save. It is not Winks or Alli who is withdrawn but instead Son Heung-Min who makes way for Dembele.

Mousa Dembele being prepped for Tottenham. Harry Winks or Dele Alli will surely be withdrawn.

Tottenham should have their third. Danny Rose's cross causes chaos and the ball breaks to Llorente, but he misses the ball from his acrobatic effort. Sissoko tests Perez from the follow-up but Apoel escapes without any further damage.

If Man City lose to Shakhtar.....

Chance for Apoel, and easily their best. Vouros takes aim from the right-corner of the penalty area and it needs Danny Rose's outstretched leg to turn the ball behind and beyond Vorm.

Mauricio Pochettino will be content with his team's display.

Back under way at Wembley. No changes, and to be honest, no point. This game is done.

Half-time: Tottenham 2-0 Apoel

Easy peasy for Tottenham and they are putting the icing on their Champions League group campaign here. Fernando Llorente has his maiden Spurs goal, and he made the second for Son Heung-Min before the break. The Greek fans have created plenty of noise, but their team has been woeful as Apoel head for an exit from European competition.

A goal and an assist for Fernando Llorente tonight. His Tottenham career is very much off and running.

GOAL! Tottenham 2-0 Apoel (Son Heung-Min)

And that should be that. Some patient build-up from Tottenham ends with Son twisting and turning, laying the ball off to Llorente who plays the ball back and the South Korean curls home from 20 yards.

Just about sums it up.

Danny Rose plays a raking pass back inside his own half beyond the stretch of Aurier, who can only toe-poke the ball out of play back inside the Tottenham final third. Spurs have been really sloppy but Apoel have been so poor they've been unable to take advantage. And to be honest they don't look capable.

Fernando Llorente puts Tottenham ahead.

GOAL! Tottenham 1-0 Apoel (Fernando Llorente)

Fernando Llorente opens his account for Spurs, three months on from his move to north London. Winks spreads it wide to Aurier, who crosses to Llorente, who allows the ball to roll it across him and fires into the net from close range.

Juan Foyth heads over the bar from a corner which was forced by Fernando Llorente. Apoel have offered nothing, though of course a draw is good enough for them for their European campaign to continue.

Moussa Sissoko has already played one stray pass out of play and now Harry Winks follows him. Tottenham very sloppy in their build-up play tonight.

News from Madrid however where Real lead Borussia Dortmund 2-0. That means Apoel will qualify for the Europa League if the score stays the same. I wonder if Mr Giorgos Donis may have a word with his counterpart Pochettino and ask his team to go easy. Spurs are assured of top spot in this group, of course.

Dele Alli will attempt to inspire Tottenham tonight.

Serge Aurier with an embarrassing moment on the right as he miss controls the ball and it runs out of play, with no pressure on him. Not one to tell the grandkids about.

Not sure how Tottenham are not ahead. Llorente gets his head on it, Perez turns it away and though Sanchez can't convert, Nkoudou shoots goalwards and Lago clears the ball off the line. Apoel survive.

Dele Alli limping around after just six minutes. He went down a moment ago down the left and was denied a free-kick. Staying out there to see if he can run it off, but Mauricio Pochettino is keeping a watchful eye on the England man.

Early chance for Tottenham. Every touch is greeted by loud whistles by the Apoel support - as if they were at home - but it doesn't stop Serge Aurier collecting the ball and shooting wide from the right.

Now the turn of Son Heung-Min to do similar, turning and running at the Greeks and though his effort seems to be heading wide Perez gets the touch to force a corner.

Under way at Wembley.

Both teams are out at Wembley. You could hear a pin drop, other than the pocket of Apoel fans in the far right-hand corner.

I'd say the cold has really ratcheted up in the last hour or so, so this game need to warm the cockles. Otherwise it could descend into a bit of an eyesore.

Bizarre way Tottenham have sold tickets for this game. Each of the three tiers at Wembley are a third full, whereas if they had combined them they would have filled the bottom rung of seats and created a much better atmosphere.

I know the reason, but it makes no sense if they want to make an occasion of this game.

If you have been living under a rock for the last few months, let me recap how Tottenham have got to a position where they have qualified with a game to go in the Champions League group stage.

They begun with a fine win over Borussia Dortmund to really set the tone for the campaign, before they went to Apoel and won comfortably courtesy of Harry Kane's hat-trick.

But the campaign will be defined by the double-header against Real Madrid which saw them follow-up a fine display in a 1-1 draw at the Bernabeu with a 3-1 hammering of the defending champions at home. Victory at Dortmund secured top spot last time out meaning tonight is something of a walk in the park for Mauricio Pochettino's men.

Some Spurs have made the trip across north London for this one. Some getting in their only game of the season, you'd expect.

These two sides have of course only played each other the one time, in the first group game when Harry Kane's hat-trick delivered a comfortable 3-0 win in Greece. Spurs have previous wins over Greek opposition in the form of AEL Limassol FC and Anorthosis Famagusta FC in the Europa League.

Apoel did actually come away with a point on their last trip to England when they drew 2-2 with Chelsea at Stamford Bridge. They were beaten 1-0 at home by the Blues however.

Around 35 minutes until kick-off and the travelling contingent from Apoel are outnumbered their Tottenham counterparts vastly.

Tottenham might have already achieved qualification for the last 16 but the entire squad are in need of a lift after a run of one win in their last six games.

Many of these players might not be involved this weekend against Stoke but the likes of Dele Alli and co will take the result and vibe from tonight's game into that Premier League fixture. So it is vital there is some momentum to build on.

Mauricio Pochettino suggested yesterday that Georges Kevin-Nkoudou's lack of opportunities had been down to his attitude. Well, he gets a chance to impress tonight and convince his manager he is worthy of further opportunities. Tonight is just his third start of his Spurs career.

There are two other English sides in action in the Champions League tonight, with one still yet to qualify for the last 16. Manchester City are in Shakhtar looking to progress as the only side to have won all six of their group games, while Liverpool host Spartak Moscow knowing a win will see them qualify and as group winners. A defeat and they will be knocked out of the competition. You can follow all the action here.

Wembley is resplendent before kick-off.

On the bench for Tottenham, as promised, if Luke Amos and Kazaiah Sterling who if they come on will make their senior debuts for the club.

Seven changes for Apoel from their weekend win over Ermis. Perez, Ebecilio, Zahid, Vouros and Carlao all keep their place. Nuno Morais, the exit Chelsea man, captains the Greek champions.

Nine changes for Spurs after the weekend draw at Watford. Davinson Sanchez - who is suspended for the visit of Stoke this weekend - and Dele Alli are the two who keep their place. Fernando Llorente, Juan Foyth and Georges Kevin-Nkoudou all make rare starts.

And here is the Apoel side....

Tottenham team has dropped....

Apoel do have something to play for tonight, as they can still progress to the Europa League if they can finish third in the group. They need to better Borussia Dortmund's result at Real Madrid to leapfrog the Bundesliga side, but a defeat sends them packing.

Preparations well under way ahead of tonight's game.

Just £20 a ticket to watch Tottenham in the Champions League tonight but I fancy they might struggle to fill all 90,000 seats at Wembley tonight. The Apoel fans have already packed out the away end and are making a night of it, presumably after making a day of it. Elsewhere however, red seats galore.

Teams should be with us soon but how might Tottenham line up tonight?

As many as 10 players have been overlooked altogether, with Harry Kane, Eric Dier, Hugo Lloris and Christian Eriksen among them. Toby Alderweireld and Victor Wanyama are injured, while Erik Lamela is ineligible.

Georges-Kevin N'Koudou, Luke Amos and Kazaiah Sterling could all feature but Marcus Edwards - previously dubbed the new Lionel Messi - will not be considered.

Tottenham all already secured a place in the last 16 of the Champions League and can afford to sit back and relax for the visit of Apoel. They will however want to progress with a 100% unbeaten record and of course produce a display which can instill renewed confidence in a squad which has won just one of its last six Premier League games.

Opponents Apoel might be out of the competition but they are still in the race for the Europa League, which is on offer for the sides finishing third in the group stage. They need to better Borussia Dortmund's result at Real Madrid, but they do need at least a point to stand any chance.

All the build-up and teams news ahead of the 7:45pm GMT kick-off on the way.
