Morgan's career kicked off on SNL and the actor remained a cast member on the show from 1996 to 2003. His other hit show - 30 Rock - with Tina Fey and Alec Baldwin was also loosely inspired by the behind-the-scenes events of SNL.
In June 2015, Morgan gave his first interview to Matt Lauer on Today, and expressed surprise at having survived the crash. "I can't believe I'm here; I can't believe I'm in front of you," an emotional Morgan said. You can click here to watch the interview online.
