Tyga claims split with Kylie Jenner was mutual: 'You can't fix it in a moment'
After remaining mum about his relationship for a while, American rapper Tyga has finally addressed his split from Kylie Jenner, confirming that he is "single" and "enjoying life". During a radio interview with Big Boy TV, the rapper who debuted in Hollywood with the movie Barbershop: The Next Cut, divulged the reason behind his split from the Kardashian sister.
"When you're in a very public relationship like that, it's hard for other people to see you differently than that," he said explaining that he suffered increasing public pressure while dating the Keeping Up With The Kardashian star.
The 26-year-old singer whose real name is Micheal Ray Stevenson, mentioned that his affair with the 18-year-old TV personality took a toll on his professional life. "Being in that it took a lot, career wise, everything. It overshadowed a lot of my talents and a lot of things that I worked hard for."
Tyga, who has a son King Cairo with former girlfriend Blac Chyna, claimed that his spilt from Kylie was "mutual" as they decided not to continue with something which "is so damaged".
"It got to the point where it was like, 'I respect you, you respect me.' I think it's a mutual thing. This is what needs to happen. When something is so damaged or something is just not right, you can't fix it in a moment. The only thing is time."
The couple parted ways in May after dating for almost two years. Soon after their split, the rapper was spotted with lingerie model Demi Rose (another brunette), but dismissed rumours in the radio interview.
While gossip around Tyga and Rose made the rounds, Kylie was spotted partying with rapper PartyNextDoor.
