That's all from us, but elsewhere today, Arsenal are just about to learn their Europa League fate. Napoli are among the sides the Gunners could be paired with in the round of 32 stage; follow the draw as it happens here.

Since that draw, odds for winning the Champions League have changed dramatically; Manchester City are now the bookies' favourites to win the trophy, replacing PSG who have fallen to third at 5/1.

Chelsea's meanwhile have plummeted to 28/1 after being paired with Barcelona.

There's no doubt Chelsea and Tottenham have got the tougher jobs on their hands, but here is a couple of reassuring stats courtesy of Opta.

Chelsea vs Barcelona has been a pretty sensational Champions League tie over the last decade or so.

Remember this?

And this?

Obviously you remember this.

We won't say no to Real Madrid vs Paris Saint-Germain and Chelsea vs Barcelona. We have two truly heavyweight European clashes on our hands in the first knock out round with Juventus and Tottenham Hotspur paired in another compelling tie.

The London sides certainly got the worst of it there, Manchester City, Manchester United and Liverpool have all got favourable draws against Basel, Sevilla and Porto respectively.

Here we go!

Now we are being reminded for the 174846th time how the draw works today. While they do that, here's one last look at how the teams have been split.

Group winners: Manchester United, Paris Saint-Germain, AS Roma, Barcelona, Manchester City, Besiktas, Tottenham Hotspur, Liverpool

Group runners up: Basel, Bayern Munich, Chelsea, Juventus, Sevilla, Shakhtar Donetsk, FC Porto, Real Madrid

Uefa MC Giorgio Marchetti asks Alonso his obligatory question about That Night on Istanbul ™. He warns his former side that the "big teams" are now coming.

Almost time; Uefa are ready to go and Liverpool and Real Madrid favourite Xabi Alonso is out to oversee things.

Who can Tottenham Hotspur draw?

After finishing as group winners ahead of both Real Madrid and Borussia Dortmund, Spurs have earned their place among the elite. One of Basel, Bayern Munich, Juventus, Shakhtar Donetsk or Porto will be their next challenge.

Best and worst case scenario? Porto or Basel would represent a favourable draw but after dismissing the defending champions at Wembley, Mauricio Pochettino's side will fear no one in this competition. Bayern Munich will provide the sternest examination of their European credentials.

Who can Liverpool draw?

After a mixed group campaign where they surrendered leads to Sevilla both home and away but also plundered seven goals past both Maribor and Spartak Moscow, Liverpool are back in the last 16 for the first time in nine years. Basel, Bayern Munich, Juventus, Shakhtar Donetsk, Porto or Real Madrid lie in wait.

Best and worst case scenario? Liverpool will fancy their chances of doing what United couldn't and getting a result both home and away to Basel. Bayern Munich and Real Madrid would provide the sternest tests of their irresistible attack.

Who can Chelsea draw?

The Blues were left ruing their Champions League luck last Tuesday night after a 1-1 home draw with Europa League-bound Atletico Madrid cost them top place in their group, feeding them into potential ties with two of the competition favourites.

Owing to four Premier League teams topping their respective groups in Manchester United, Manchester City, Liverpool and Tottenham and another meeting with Roma not permitted at this stage, there are actually only three teams that Chelsea are able to draw as runners-up in Barcelona, Paris Saint-Germain and Besiktas.

Best and worst case scenario? Pick your poison. PSG or Barcelona. Neymar or Messi. Edinson Cavani or Luis Suarez. Kylian Mbappe or Ousmane Dembele. Besiktas is obviously the tie Chelsea have their hearts set on.

Who can Manchester United draw?

For the first time in three years, United find themselves waiting to learn their fate for the knock-out stages of the Champions League. With their Premier League title hopes taking a huge hit on Sunday, the clamour for a second European in honour in as many seasons will grow. It won't be easy, however, with Bayern Munich, Juventus, Sevilla, Shakhtar Donetsk, Porto or Real Madrid lying in wait.

Best and worst scenario? Porto would represent a great draw for United given the weight of the other opposition, although Sevilla's defensive fragilities shown in the group stage will have been encouraging for any potential opponents. A return to the Santiago Bernabeu awaits Jose Mourinho too.

Who can Manchester City draw?

Fresh from underlining their status as the best side in England, Pep Guardiola's side will now be looking to establish their dominance on the continent. After sauntering into the last 16 as group winners, the sides waiting for them are Basel, Bayern Munich, Juventus, Sevilla, Porto, Real Madrid.

Best and worst case scenario? While Basel do like a shock result against an English side, having beaten Manchester United again in the group stages, City would gladly welcome a trip to Switzerland. While they are yet to hit their stride this term, you would always prefer to avoid defending champions Real Madrid at this stage.

Here is how things look ahead of the draw. As you can see, we are pretty much guaranteed some heavyweight battles in the first knock-out round with Real Madrid, Bayern Munich, Juventus and Chelsea ll failing to win their groups.

Group winners: Manchester United, Paris Saint-Germain, AS Roma, Barcelona, Manchester City, Besiktas, Tottenham Hotspur, Liverpool

Group runners up: Basel, Bayern Munich, Chelsea, Juventus, Sevilla, Shakhtar Donetsk, FC Porto, Real Madrid

Before the Champions League is put to bed until February, there is still the small matter of the draw for the last 16 stage of the competition to look forward to. While the group stages of club football's biggest prize might struggle to get one's juices flowing, the knock-out stage of the competition usually addresses that with a host of heavyweight ties awaiting us this morning.

Qualifying as group winners traditionally had the reward of keeping you clear of Europe's elite at this stage. Not so much this year, with Juventus, Bayern Munich and defending champions Real Madrid awaiting three Premier League sides.

We will take you through all the draw options for the five clubs from these shores as we await the draw, which is to begin at 11am [GMT].
