UFC fighter Cris 'Cyborg' Justino says Ronda Rousey would need face surgery after bout with her
Justino made her UFC debut earlier this year.
Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC) fighter Cris "Cyborg" Justino is not a fan of former Women's Bantamweight champion Ronda Rousey, after the latter lashed out at her in the past. The Brazilian has continued her tirade against Rousey warning her that she would have to undergo a facial surgery if they ever meet in the octagon.
Justino, who made her UFC debut earlier this year, has ruled the Strikeforce and Invicta FC featherweight divisions in the past and has been keen on facing the American for a number of years. The duo have not fought so far as they compete in different divisions, but the Brazilian has claimed that Rousey is just avoiding a fight with her.
"Ronda doesn't say anything. She doesn't even say my name. She used Dana White and her mother to talk to me, because she knows if she says my name, she'll have to fight me. She knows this. My last fight, I broke the nose of the girl in three places. Sure, if I fight her (Rousey) she'll have to do surgery on her face after. I'm not kidding," Justino said, as quoted by Bloody Elbow.
Justino and Rousey have been involved in a number of spats over the years and latter was critical of Justino when it emerged that she had failed a drug test in 2011. They have come close to fighting a number of times in the past, however, it never happen as the Brazilian was not able to make the American's 135-pound weight limit.
Rousey has been out of action since November 2015 after she suffered a shock defeat at the hands of Holly Holm at UFC 193. Holm knocked Rousey out with a vicious head kick, inflicting the first loss of Rousey's career.
White, who is the president of the UFC, recently claimed that Rousey is the still the biggest superstar in the company and while not confirming on a return date, said that the 29-year-old will get a chance to reclaim her bantamweight title whenever she decides to step back in the ring.
