UFO sighted over Ohio military base? Twitter divided over authenticity of video
A video of an unidentified flying object reportedly hovering above the Wright-Patterson Air Force Base in Dayton, Ohio, surfaced online during the Memorial Day weekend, intriguing the interest of self-proclaimed UFO enthusiasts.
The 13-minute footage is claimed to have been captured by a couple, who were apparently watching the sunset over Dayton. In the video clip, a object can be seen hovering in the air. The woman in the video can be heard saying, "It looks like it's moving with the clouds."
The couple have claimed that although they noticed the object, it soon disappeared into the clouds near the Wright-Patterson Air Force Base.
Since it was uploaded on YouTube by Secure Team 10 on 28 May, the video has been viewed more than 500,000 times.
However, its authenticity is being debated. While many social media users consider the video to be genuine, some believe that it could be a fake created by some self-proclaimed UFO aficionado.
Secure Team 10 has been associated with several other videos which were apparently fabricated using computer generated special effects. There claims have been debunked by multiple online forums in the past.
Apart from this, recently, it was claimed that a rare cosmic event was discovered in one of the images released by Nasa's Helioviewer (the Solar and Heliospheric Observatory). The enthusiast said that a "secret door" was seen on the surface of the sun which would "allow safe passage for mother ship".
