The UK Coast Guard has released footage of a dramatic airlift rescue, after an Irish fishing boat sank 48 miles off Scotland's Western Isles on Tuesday (January 20).
In the video a man is pulled up by a winch from the sinking trawler to a rescue helicopter.
The fishing boat, the Luda Naofa, called for help as it took on water and began to sink.
A coastguard helicopter arrived with an emergency pump.
Two fishermen were airlifted to a nearby fishing vessel and three others were taken to hospital to be treated for hypothermia.
