The Director General of the United Nations Educational, Scientific and Cultural Organisation (UNESCO), Irina Bokova said on Sunday (November 2), that Iraq's cultural heritage is being destroyed in the most barbaric manner after Islamic State militants swept through large swathes of Iraq and neighbouring Syria.
