Manchester United suffered a 2-1 defeat at home against Swansea City in the third round FA Cup tie on Sunday. The defeat saw David Moyes' side suffer fourth loss in the last six games played at Old Trafford.

Wayne Routledge opened the scoring for the Welsh club in the 12th minute before Javier Hernandez equalised for United four minutes later, which was well setup by Alexander Buttner from the left.

Moyes was forced to replace Rio Ferdinand after the former England international picked up an injury. He was replaced by full-back Fabio Da Silva, which saw Chris Smalling move into the central defending position.

However, the Brazilian was given the marching order minutes after coming on from the substitute's bench as the hosts were down to ten man for the final quarter of the game. United were unsuccessful in holding the position before Wilfried Bony's late goal saw the Red Devils being knocked out of the FA Cup.

A part of United fans took on the social networking site Twitter to expressed their frustration as they were unhappy in the way Moyes' side lost their latest fixture.

Moyes is out of his depth, wrong man for the job. Good manager, not good enough for United. Awful appointment! #mufc

Sorry Moyes not good enough by a long long way. Regardless of SAF change, Moyes has made us so so poor. #mufc

Moyes talks about lack of creativity yet he keeps on playing Cleverley. Time to wake up, Moyes. #MUFC
