US condemns North Korea nuclear test threat
The US has spoken out against North Korea's provocative plans to continue nuclear testing, dismissing their claims it relates to sanctions brought about by the United Nation Security Council.
The US special envoy to North Korea Glyn Davies speaking here outlined the seriousness of continuing with their programme. He said
Back in December North Korea successfully launched a long-range rocket launch, the first to put a satellite in orbit which showed their potential nuclear capability. And South Korea have reported satellite images showing the North is actively working on a third nuclear test site. However, political analysts said they viewed a test as unlikely in the near-term.
