US: Dramatic video shows passengers flee bus just seconds before train hits
Shocking video footage has emerged which shows the moment a group of terrified passengers in the US escaped from the bus they were on just seconds before it was hit by a train.
In the CCTV video posted by the Metropolitan Atlanta Rapid Transit Authority, a passenger can be heard saying, "train coming!" while the bus is stuck in traffic on a level crossing. The other passengers then rush from their seats, banging on the doors screaming, "let me out!"
The bus driver opens the doors and the passengers all escape, but the bus driver himself is still in the vehicle when the train hits. Another angle shows just how narrowly the driver escapes as the force of impact knocks him out of his seat just before the locomotive smashes through where he was sitting.
Both the driver and all passengers survived the event with only minor injuries. An investigation into the crash is now taking place.
