Overview
Host nation USA are one win away from making it to the final of the 2016 Copa America. They take on Argentina in the first semi-final of the tournament on Tuesday and the winner of the clash will face either Colombia or Chile in the final on 26 June.
USA sealed a place in the last four after their 2-1 victory over Ecuador in the first quarter-final. Clint Dempsey and Gyasi Zardes' goals in the first and the second halves were sufficient for USA to progress to the semi-final.
Argentina, on the other hand, cruised to the semi-final after their 4-1 comfortable victory over Venezuela. Two goals from Gonzala Higuain and a goal and two assists from Lionel Messi were enough for them to register a victory in the quarter-final.
They are the only side in the tournament to have a 100% win record and would be looking to extend that, when they face USA.
