Usain Bolt's sister shuts down cheating rumours, says sprinter 'loves' Kasi Bennett
Christine Bolt-Hylton's comments come after Bolt partied with a bevy of beauties in London.
After Usain Bolt's scandalous pictures with Brazilian student Jady Duarte went viral, the sprinter's personal life has become subject to speculation. To add to it, the Jamaican star's parties – with a bevy of women – are only adding fuel to the alleged cheating scandal. Even his "first lady" Kasi Bennett is not helping their case as she is "liking" controversial photos on Instagram.
While fans and followers wonder if it is over between Bolt and Bennett, the Olympian's sister Christine Bolt-Hylton has once again come to his defence and slammed online critics.
"I don't think anything happened between him and the Brazilian girl," Christine told the NY Daily News and added, "He loves Kasi too much to jeopardise the relationship."
According to the sister of the nine-time gold medal-winning Jamaican Olympian, Usain's girlfriend will "talk to him" despite the cheating accusations made against him. The report further goes on to claim that Bennett, who has been with the sprinter for around two years, is used to such fan photos.
"I know she will be upset, but she will talk to him. I know they can work their difficulties out," Christine said.
It seems that the Olympian's sister, who previously claimed that Bolt will get engaged to 26-year-old Bennett upon returning from Rio, believes in her brother's innocence. Defending his behaviour, she said, "Usain doesn't believe in cheating. Normally when we speak, he says he is against stuff like that. He has never done this before as far as I know."
Meanwhile, the Rio 2016 Olympics champion has maintained his silence on the entire fiasco as he travels from one city to another, continuing with his celebrations of winning three gold medals at the Rio 2016 Olympic Games.
His last tweet was on 22 August when he accepted Prince Harry's request for another head-to-head encounter on the track. You may recall that the duo previously raced in 2012 at the University of the West Indies, as part of the Diamond Jubilee Tour.
"Congratulations @usainbolt – now you're officially the greatest you might be ready for a re-run! Happy 30th –H," the 31-year-old royal said. To which Bolt tweeted back: "Let's do it. Respect for the birthday wishes."
Bolt is currently in London, having taken his party marathon from Rio to the UK capital. On Monday night he persuaded two women he met at celebrity haunt Cirque Le Soir to come back to his hotel for an after-party. The following night he added to his tally with another mystery lady.
