Here is your round-up of the biggest video game news stories from the week, including the release dates for two of Nintendo Switch's biggest summer games, Splatoon 2 and Arms and the start of the latest seasonal Overwatch event.
Elsewhere EA's Star Wars Battlefront 2 leaked ahead of its planned official announcement this weekend at the Star Wars Celebration fan event in Florida. The leaked trailer revealed the inclusion of characters and locations from every Star Wars film to date.

Star Wars Battlefront 2 trailer reveals campaign story, Darth Maul, Rey and more
EA's announcement trailer for Star Wars Battlefront 2 has leaked online, revealing the first look at DICE's upcoming shooter. The trailer reveals the basis of a single player campaign and that the game will unexpectedly include characters and locations from George Lucas's prequel trilogy.
The video, which has appeared on Vimeo and is embedded below, starts with scenes from the end of Return of the Jedi (the finale of the original trilogy) and 2015 sequel The Force Awakens, including new series' protagonist Rey.
A unknown female character says, "I still remember my last orders, the day the real war began," before a caption teases a campaign that will tell "the untold soldier's story".
Overwatch Insurrection trailer shows off new PvE mode, skins, sprays and more
Blizzard's hit shooter Overwatch is getting a new co-op game mode as part of a new event starting later today (11 April). According to a leaked trailer, the event will be called Overwatch Insurrection, however, some fans note that the event might just be called "Uprising" in English-speaking countries.
Eager Overwatch fans have been picking apart the trailer for clues regarding the new update. The trailer reveals what seems to be a new four-player, horde-style PvE (Player vs Everything) mode familiar to last October's Halloween event.
Set seven years ago in Overwatch lore, the new mode stars Tracer, Reinhardt, Mercy and Torbjörn, who will battle a hoard of various robotic enemies during the Omnic uprising.
Nintendo sets Switch titles Splatoon 2 and Arms summer release dates
Nintendo has announced the release dates for its two major summertime Nintendo Switch exclusives. Unique fighter Arms will launch in June before family-friendly shooter Splatoon 2 launches in July.
The announcements were made during Nintendo's latest Direct online broadcast, which focused on the two games but included a host of fresh announcements.
Arms, a fighting game in which a roster of characters fight using interchangeable, unique weapons grafted to their springy, elongated arms. It's super weird but very fun and launches worldwide on 16 June.
