Vin Diesel thanks Paul Walker and actor's daughter during Teen Choice Awards 2015
American actor and filmmaker Vin Diesel paid tribute to friend, late actor Paul Walker and his daughter at the 2015 Teen Choice Awards held at the Galen Center in Los Angeles.
The 47-year-old Fast And Furious star along with cast members, Jordana Brewster, Michelle Rodriguez, and Ludacris accepted the Choice Movie: Action/Adventure award at the event.
Adding on, Paul won the Choice Movie Actor: Action/Adventure award for Furious Seven.
"I can't stand here and be rewarded like this without talking about someone very, very important to us," Diesel said in his speech. "One of the best blessings in our lives is that we have the opportunity to call Pablo a brother. Paul Walker is here with us in spirit."
"This was a very special movie for us to make. We make these movies with our hearts. We really are a family...We are a true, true, true family."
"Since this is a Teen Choice Award, there is one teen in the audience that is a part of the family that kept us going. It's Paul Walker's family—his brother, his parents—that kept us encouraged when we were filming Furious 7," he added. "But there's one very, very special teen here and her name is Meadow Walker."
Paul died on 30 November 2013, while returning from a charity event when a Porsche driven by his friend Roger Rodas spun out of control and smashed into a tree before bursting into flames.
