Voyeur filmed naked teenage girl as she changed at Dorset waterpark

A man has admitted filming a naked 14-year-old girl from under a changing room cubicle at a waterpark in Dorset. Chuck Wood, 21, secretly recorded footage on his mobile phone as the girl was getting changed at Splashdown in Poole in December.

It was only when the victim told her father who was with her at the Tower Park attraction that he stormed into Wood's cubicle to confront him. During the commotion, Wood passed his phone to a group of friends and no footage was ever recovered.

Police were called to the park and arrested Wood, who is from Lower Innox, Frome, in Somerset and has learning difficulties. In the absence of video footage, police charged him after he told detectives "I was doing something I shouldn't have been doing. I was taking a photo of a girl, I am sorry."

Wood pleaded guilty at Bournemouth magistrates' court on 6 May to a charge of voyeurism – that he recorded another person doing a private act with the intention of obtaining sexual gratification from it. He will be sentenced at Yeovil magistrates' court later this year.
