Wales: police appeal for information as 13-year-old Pontypridd schoolgirl Lara Goodson goes missing
Police in South Wales have appealed for information about the whereabouts of a 13-year-old schoolgirl from Pontypridd, Lara Goodson, who went missing on Monday (25 May).
Lara was last seen when she went to visit a parent on the morning of Bank Holiday Monday and is thought to still be in the Pontypridd area. She is thought to be wearing a green short-sleeved blouse, a Hollister hooded top, black leggings and black trainers.
A police spokesman said: "South Wales Police is concerned of the whereabouts of Lara Goodson. If you have any information in regards to Lara's whereabouts, who is believed to be in the Pontypridd area, please call police on 101 - or call Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111 free - quoting occurrence 1500184297."
Meanwhile a 16-year-old schoolgirl from the Kent area who went missing with a much older man ten days ago has been found safe and well.
Kaylie Hatton ran away from her grandmother's house in Sidcup, Kent on 16 May following an argument. She had lived with her grandmother for 10 years.
She is believed to have been sleeping rough with 51-year-old Fred Finch in southeast London or north Kent, possibly in a car or van. Kaylie walked into a London police station today and is believed to be safe and well.
