The Walking Dead season 6 finale synopsis out: Rick is out of safe zone to save 'one of their own'

Negan is coming with his deadly weapon to wreck havoc on Rick Grimes and his group in The Walking Dead season 6 finale. But the big question is who will be the first victim of the notorious villain?

The survivors at the Alexandria safe zone are in deep trouble especially now because the Saviors know their location and can attack them anytime. AMC has finally released the synopsis of episode 16 titled Last Day on Earth and it seems the Alexandrians have lot of trouble in store.

Daryl Dixon's life is already hanging in the balance and fans don't know whether he is dead or alive after Dwight pulled the trigger. Glen, Michonne and Rosita are still being held hostage by Dwight and his men.

The only person who can save them is Rick but will he be able to reach his team on time to save them? The synopsis of the TWD season 6 finale reads: Rick and the group must go outside the walls to save one of their own. What they experience on the road will change their lives forever.

Morgan Jones is also out in the woods following the blood trails and it is not known whether he will meet the dreaded villain created by Robert Kirkman in his graphic novel. A sneak peek of the finale episode shows Morgan finding a horse in the middle of a field and cuddle with it. But as fans know, every subtle moment in TWD is an invitation for an upcoming terrorising scene.

Hence, many argue that this might be Morgan's last day on earth. The cast and crew of the popular zombie thriller have already warned viewers of a "mind-blowing" finale.

"It's the most hardcore finale we've ever had. It's rough. It's the most gut-wrenching finale yet. And it's one of, if not the best episode I've ever seen of our show. It's mind-blowing," Norman Reedus told TVLine about the impending tragic finale.

The Walking Dead season 6 finale episode titled Last Day On Earth will air on 3 April on AMC network.
