Wannabe his lover? Meet Mel B's nanny Lorraine Gilles who Stephen Belafonte allegedly 'impregnated'

The nanny in which Mel B has claimed her estranged husband Stephen Belafonte impregnated in 2014 has been revealed as Lorraine Gilles.

The 26-year-old pretty blonde has found herself in the middle of the former Spice Girls singer's messy divorce as it has been claimed Belafonte paid Ms Gilles £241,000 to have an abortion.

Who exactly is Lorraine Gilles?

Gilles is a former exchange student from Germany and worked as the former couple's family as a nanny for years, taking care of their children. Gilles is featured in a number of pictures on both Mel B (Melanie Brown) and Belafonte's social media pages and comes across as very much part of the family.

One picture sees her cosying up to Belafonte, 41, with the children, as another snap sees her standing next to Brown in front of a private jet among others.

Brown, also 41, dragged the glamorous blonde into the mix when she alleged that her husband ordered Gilles to have an abortion and paid her $300,000 for "nanny services" during her employment.

She further claimed that Belafonte went "ballistic" after she mustered up the courage to fire her in 2015.

The Spice Girl claimed that Belafonte would degrade her in front of the nanny. She said: "He would degrade me in front of her by comparing me to Lorraine, telling me how much younger and better looking she was.

"I later discovered that (he) was having sex with Lorraine and was paying her inordinate amounts of money. Over the course of some three years, I recently learned that (he) paid Lorraine in excess of $300,000 for alleged nanny services."

"He immediately began setting Lorraine up as my rival. She answered to, and reported to [him]."

Pregnancy

Brown has stated that her estranged husband impregnated Ms Gilles and has spoke about her shock on discovering the news.

She said: "He told me he wanted her to have the baby and all three of us live together. I was shocked and in disbelief.

"He later demanded that Lorraine had an abortion. Respondent used money earned by me to pay for Lorraine's abortion, and he used money earned by me to pay for Lorraine's hotel stay while she recuperated from the procedure."

After she sacked Gilles, Brown claims that Belafonte didn't take it lightly. She added: "When I did, (Belafonte) went ballistic. He screamed and yelled at me for some three straight hours.

"He told me that Lorraine raised our children far better than I ever could. He told me that she was his 'ride or die b****' and the only woman in his life that completely had his back," she continued.

Other claims made about Stephen Belafonte

Brown's filed court documents against Belafonte, revealing a string of serious allegations. According to Mel B, he repeatedly beat her in jealous rages and subjected her to years of mental and physical abuse.

He allegedly forced her to have sex with other women and take part in threesomes – one said to have involved Lady Victoria Hervey – some of which he secretly filmed and alleged to threaten releasing in a bid to ruin her career.

Brown said: "Every time I tried, [he] threatened me with violence and threatened to destroy my life in every possible way. He said he would destroy my career and take my kids from me.

"He threatened to release sexually explicit videotapes claiming I would never again work in the entertainment industry.

"I desperately wanted to leave the relationship and tried to do so during our first year of marriage and every year thereafter."
