A man in France was reportedly shocked to discover a whole fried chicken head in amongst a portion of wings he bought at French fast-food chain, Quick. The discovery was made in Saint-Jean-de-Védas, situated on the outskirts of Montpellier in Southern France on 22 April.

"I almost bit into it! I thought it was a bone," the man said, according to thelocal.fr. When he took the head to the counter, he said that the manager told him he could have a milkshake and a coffee to compensate.

"I don't plan to go back" said the man. A video he uploaded - in which he holds up what appears to be the fried chicken head from his tray, has now been viewed over 130,000 times.

Some comments on social media have questioned the validity of the video, implying that it might just be a fake. Others expressed their mock surprise, joking that the fast-food wings may have had 'real' chicken in them.
