Captain America, Spider-Man and Godzilla may well dominate the summer box office, but four British lads are going to do their best to spoil the party.

The Inbetweeners 2 sees Simon Bird, James Buckley, Blake Harrison and Joe Thomas return as the oddball sixth form friends, who this time go on holiday to Australia.

And the first teaser trailer has no been released online...

After three successful series for E4, Will, Simon, Jay and Neil headed to the big screen in 2011 – making more than £50 million at the box office and becoming the highest grossing UK comedy ever.

The sequel sees the group travel to Australia, where the original film made £5.4m, the second biggest take outside the UK.

Series writers Damon Beesley and Iain Morris are taking over director duties from Ben Palmer.

Film4 have confirmed that the film will be released in the UK on 6 August.
