Watch out North West! Jessica Simpson's children offered Gap Kids modelling contract
They are only toddlers, but Jessica Simpson's children could soon be making their modelling debut after receiving an offer to front a campaign for fashion brand Gap Kids.
According to OK! Magazine, the 34-year-old pop star is over the moon about the modelling contract and can't wait to put her daughter Maxwell, two, and son Ace, 16 months, in front of the camera.
''They received an offer from Gap Kids. They're gorgeous and clearly very photogenic," a source told the publication.
But while the songstress is keen for her good-looking offspring to become style icons, her husband Eric Johnson has his reservations about the offer.
The insider added: ''Eric usually just goes along with whatever Jessica wants, but he thinks it's important that the kids have as normal a childhood as they can, since Jess is so famous."
If the couple, who tied the knot in 2014, go through with the lucrative deal, Maxwell and Ace would join the growing ranks of celebrity tots venturing into modelling.
Last summer, Kim Kardashian and Kanye West's daughter North West made her solo modelling debut in the fall issue of CR Fashion Book, a style guide from former Vogue Paris editor-in-chief Carine Roitfeld.
The black-and-white picture shows the youngster looking to the side decked out in diamond studs and a chic knitted Chanel cardigan with a small quilted bag by the French label resting on her lap.
In the corner of image is a quote from the fashion house's creative director Karl Lagerfeld, which reads: "It is never too early to care about fashion."
North previously graced the pages of Vogue alongside her famous parents.
