Watch Suits season 5 premiere live online: Harvey and Donna move on? Mike and Rachel put marriage on hold

Suits season 5 premieres on 24 June with its first episode titled Denial. Post the intense season 4 finale, fans have been eagerly waiting to see how things transpire between Harvey and Donna.

As Donna leaves Harvey to go work as Louis' secretary, her interaction with her former boss is "strained" at best, actress Sarah Rafferty told TV Line. "They're both disappointed in each other in different ways...and it doesn't make for a copacetic relationship."

The actress added, "She doesn't think he's emotionally intelligent. I think that's why she thinks they shouldn't be together, and [why] she tells herself that she doesn't love him."

When asked if there's a possibility of Donna having a different romantic interest this season, Rafferty teased that she would be "open to it."

"I don't know yet. I certainly would be open to it. I imagine that she's not sitting at home pining and eating Ben & Jerry's by herself and watching TV!"

According to a Forbes report, the premiere episode does a good job of setting the stage for the rest of the season as all the characters are given interesting plots that viewers can look forward to.

"In the Season Five opener, Harvey has difficulty adjusting to changes around the office, which affects his ability to do his work. Donna must acclimate to working for Louis, who's certain it's only a matter of time before she returns to Harvey. Mike and Rachel must decide how and when to share their big news, but their excitement about their future together will take a back seat to Harvey and Mike's latest case."

Meanwhile, the official description for the second episode of Suits season 5 titled Compensation gives some idea as to how Harvey plans to push through.

"Harvey searches for a replacement for Donna. Mike takes a case as a favour, which he must justify to Jessica – while Rachel's father, Robert Zane, offers some unsolicited advice about Rachel's engagement to Mike. And Louis is embroiled in surprising money matters, while an up-and-coming partner, Jack, makes his presence known to Jessica, confronting her about whether Harvey's way of doing business is beneficial to the firm," reads the episode 2 synopsis.

Suits season 5, episode 1 Denial airs on 24 June at 9pm ET on USA Network.
