Wedding bells for Nicki Minaj? Meek Mill's girlfriend sparks marriage rumours on Twitter

Nicki Minaj has sparked marriage rumours as she asked fans to choose between a church and a beach wedding on Twitter. Even as her engagement with rapper Meek Mill has not been confirmed, she wrote in the post, "RT for beach wedding. Fave for church wedding."

Soon fans responded, by retweeting the post more than 14,000 times, while 11,000 users supported a church wedding. "Beach wedding is sexy all white the waves splashing in the back sand between your toes," one fan wrote on her post.

"Church," wrote another follower and said: "do it in the Lord's house and give Him the proper thanks for that blessing!" Minaj is yet to confirm whether the tweet was meant for her or was she helping someone else.

The possibility of a beachside wedding, however, seemed farfetched as Mill, 28, is currently confined to Philadelphia for parole violation. A Philadelphia judge had recently ruled that Meek aka Robert Williams violated his probation relating to a crime he committed nine years ago. He will receive his official sentence for the incident on 5 February 2016.

Earlier this month, the Young Money star had hinted that she was engaged after she posted a picture of a huge diamond ring.

"He and I are not engaged. But he said he would like to give me three rings before we get married," the 33-year-old told Billboard. Meek had in May this year denied wedding rumours and claimed that their relationship was real, but "marriage is not on the cards just yet".
