Wendy's mercilessly roasts McDonald's on Twitter over its accidental Black Friday tweet
This isn't the first time Wendy's has poked fun at McDonald's on Twitter.

McDonald's accidentally posted an embarrassing, unfinished tweet early Friday (24 November) morning to its 164,000 followers and was relentlessly taunted for it. McDonald's corporate account posted the tweet at 1 am to commemorate Black Friday that read: "Black Friday **** Need copy and link****".
The Black Friday tweet likely set up by McDonald's social media manager without some key details, immediately went viral with thousands of people mocking the popular fast food chain over the faux pas.
"You ok, hun?" one Twitter user wrote.
"This will probably get more awareness than their originally planned tweet," one person tweeted while another said, "someone's not playing their marketing interns."
"Y'all mocking this tweet are going to look *really* silly when McDonald's bring out their new Copy and Link special combo meal," one user posted.

The erroneous tweet was up for about nine hours before McDonald's acknowledged the mistake and posted a follow-up tweet. The fast-food chain tweeted: "When you tweet before your first cup of McCafé... Nothing comes before coffee."
While many people praised McDonald's for the "excellent save", fast food chain rival Wendy's refused to miss the opportunity to troll McDonald's over the gaffe and Twitter was loving it.

Known for its clever, scorching responses on Twitter, Wendy's latest retort was not missed by social media users. At the time of publication, Wendy's post garnered over 201,000 retweets and 563,00 likes.
Twitter immediately erupted with a slew of jokes, GIFs and memes to praise Wendy's swift takedown of its competitor while Wendy's account kept churning out witty one-liners.
"Back at it again," one Twitter user wrote. Another said: "I want to be best friends with whoever runs this account lmao."
Model Chrissy Teigen tweeted: "Damn Wendy's you cold." Wendy's responded: "This is basically like winning a Twitter Oscar."
"One day I hope to reach this level of sass," one Twitter user posted to which Wendy's replied: "Dare to achieve your dreams."
"Whoever runs this Twitter account, you're doing amazing sweetie," someone posted.
