TEAM NEWS: Manchester United
Michael Carrick is in contention again after being rested midweek while Chris Smalling could also be in contention having been sidelined following that shoulder injury suffered in the FA Cup win at Shrewsbury.

Louis van Gaal's injury woes are easing somewhat with Antonio Valencia, Marouane Fellaini and Phil Jones fit again but are unlikely to start given their lengthy lay-offs. And with United's forward options still meagre, Marcus Rashford could be given the chance to start again. Ashley Young, Bastian Schweinsteiger and Wayne Rooney remain among the absentees.

TEAM NEWS: West Brom
Jonny Evans will miss the chance to come up against his former teammates due to a hamstring problem that has ruled him out today. Hopes of Champions League qualification through the league looked to be dead in the water following Manchester United's 2-1 defeat to Sunderland in January. Even their manager admitted their best hope of doing so was by winning the Europa League. But thanks to a couple of miserable Manchester City performances since then, Louis van Gaal's side are hot on their neighbours heels. Another win today, which will be their fifth in a row in all competitions, will move them level on points with fourth placed City and just two behind Arsenal in third.

12 points clear of the relegation zone following a very credible draw away to Leicester City and a win over Crystal Palace, West Brom look to be in for a nice, boring end of season run-in, something Tony Pulis will not mind at all.
