West Ham United 3-3 Arsenal: Barclays Premier League as it happened
- Eight-minute Andy Carroll hat-trick saw West Ham come from 2-0 behind to lead 3-2
- Laurent Koscielny rescued point for the Gunners who remain 10 points behind Leicester
- Manuel Lanzini's first-half goal wrongly ruled out for offside
- West Ham sit two points off top four
A thriller at Upton Park comes to an end. After falling 2-0 behind, West Ham stormed back with Andy Carroll scoring an eight-minute hat-trick to put his side ahead before Laurent Koscielny pulled one back.
A point isn't good enough for Arsenal who remain 10 points behind Leicester City having played a game more. West Ham move to within two points of fourth placed Manchester City, but that gap could be six points by the end of the day.
Chances at both ends in the space of 30 seconds. Alexis dances through the West Ham defence, jinking into the six yard area and opening up space of the shot. He takes an age, and instead of going for goal, instead decides to cut back inside, running straight into two West Ham defenders. Immediately West Ham pounce on the counter. Payet drives towards the edge of the box and has Carroll making a darting run to his left, but the Frenchman's through ball is overhit.
Carroll has a hat-trick! What a comeback from West Ham. Antonio does brilliantly down the right and digs out a superb cross for the backpost. He easily beats his marker and his header takes a slight nick of Gabriel before finding the back of the net. An eight minute hat-trick from Carroll, incredible.
Two goals in three minutes from Andy Carroll has changed the face of this game. Arsenal were cruising prior to that, with the excellent Alex Iwobi laying on goals for Mesut Ozil and Alexis Sanchez. But it all turned sour at the end. Not that we mind at all, four goals in 45 minutes, more of that please.
West Ham are level! This time the ball comes in from the right, which Carroll takes down on his chest with Arsenal's backline slow to step up. He misses the ball completely on his first attempt, but has the time and space to have another go, lashing a half volley on goal that takes a deflection of Gabriel en route to finding the corner of the net.
Sublime team goal from Arsenal. After some smooth passing from back to front, Coquelin slips a ball in for Iwobi whose brilliant first touch gives him the space to clip a fine through ball over for Sanchez, who has cut in from the left. He keeps his composure and slots the ball expertly past Adrian. West Ham were lost there.
Arsenal have the lead! It's a lovely finish from Mesut Ozil just inside the box. Coquelin slots the ball into the path of Iwobi who slides a perfectly timed ball through for the German, who sides it under the onrushing Adrian. Fine Arsenal goal, but West Ham won't be happy, replays show their disallowed goal a few moments ago was perfectly legit.
West Ham have the ball in the back of the net! It won't count though, the offside flag is once again raised. Payet feeds a ball out to Noble on the left and clips a wonderful outside-of-the-boot cross into the box. Carroll goes for an overhead kick, not getting the right connection but manages to knock it onto Lanzini who converts from close range, but the Argentine was stood ahead of his man.

He won't be in the squad today, but Jack Wilshere has stepped up his return after making an appearance for Arsenal's Under-21s last night. The 24-year-old, who has had a week to forget off the pitcg, played 65 minutes in a 3-1 win over Newcastle United. He told Arsenal's official website after the match:
I have said before I want to go to the Euros and I know that I have to get back into the Arsenal team. I have to persuade the England manager and Arsène Wenger that I should play.
"I felt good. It is nice to be back at Emirates Stadium and play my first game. I know that I'm not there yet, not quite ready to play in the first team but it is another step closer to my fitness. "You can train as much as you want, but the toughest thing is getting competition ready with the players and this all helps.
Lionel Messi, Cristiano Ronaldo, Yaya Toure, Zlatan Ibrahimovic... any talented footballer, really. You name them, Arsene Wenger thought about signing them once upon a time. Dimitri Payet is no different.
I have known him for a long, long time. When he played at St Etienne, he was there for a few years and we watched him many times. He has all the attributes to be a top, top player and he is that. He is 29-years-old already, but this season he has matured a lot as he has come back into the national team when he looked to be out. That shows he has been much more consistent. He has always had top talent, even when in periods he has been a bit up and down.
Team news: Arsenal
Aaron Ramsey and Mathieu Flamini are in line to return after recovering from respective thigh and hamstring problems. Alex Ox;ade-Chamberlain is still not ready for a first-team return, either are Jack Wilshere and Tomas Rosicky, who had a run out for the Under-21s on Friday night.
Team news: West Ham United
Slaven Bilic has an almost fully fit squad to choose from after Cheikhou Kouyate's red card shown last week against Crystal Palace was rescinded. Sam Bryam and James Collins remain sidelined.
Collins has missed the last three Premier League games against Everton, Chelsea and Palace after he picked up an injury during the 1-0 victory over Tottenham on 2 March. Byram, meanwhile, hasn't appeared in the first-team since late February.
.We are good in that department at the moment. There is only James Collins and Sam Byram, who haven't trained with us for a few weeks now. Both are going to train with us tomorrow, but of course it is too early for them to be in the squad on Saturday, but they are coming back before the end of the season.
Already this season, West Ham have dismissed Manchester City, Tottenham Hotspur, Chelsea and Liverpool at home, can they add Arsenal to that list today? The Gunners travel to Upton Park for the last time with their hopes of closing the gap on league leaders Leicester City growing fainter and fainter. Three points today will lift them back to within eight of the Foxes; anything less and their title hopes are gone.
West Ham meanwhile have their eye on closing the gap on the Gunners. They sit just seven points behind Arsene Wenger's side, three behind fourth placed Manchester City. Their own Champions League hopes remain very much alive with seven games of the season remaining.
