West Ham United take on Tottenham Hotspur in the Premier League at London Stadium on 5 May, Friday.

Where to watch live

Kick-off is at 8pm BST. Live coverage is on Sky Sports 1 and Sky Sports 1 HD. Radio commentary of the game will be available on BBC Radio 5 Live.

Overview

West Ham United have failed to win in their last three matches as all of them have ended in a draw. They failed to score in the last two outings against Stoke City and Everton as the match ended in a goalless draw.

The Hammers' 1-0 victory over Swansea City is the only one since their 3-1 victory over Southampton on 4 February. Their poor form in 2017 has seen them struggle in the league this season.

Slaven Bilic will be hoping his side can bounce back and manage a victory over their London rivals in the derby clash on Firday. A win for West Ham will be a massive boost for their fixtures against Liverpool and Burnley.

Tottenham enter this clash after managing a 2-0 victory over Arsenal in the north London derby at White Hart Lane. Dele Alli opened the scoring in the second half before Harry Kane doubled the lead, minutes later, from the spot kick.

The north London club are high on confidence and their recent form will make them the firm favourites to win the clash at the London Stadium. A victory over West Ham will see them reduce the gap at the top of the table with Chelsea.

Mauricio Pochettino will be hoping his side can avoid a defeat at the hands of their London rivals in the league tie. A loss could potentially end any slim hope they have of winning the title this campaign.

What managers say

Slaven Bilic: "I would not be surprised if they had problems. It is going to be very hard to replicate the atmosphere at White Hart Lane and the feeling that anywhere you turn you [feel] close to either goal. Tottenham felt [the difference] in the Champions League [games Spurs played at Wembley]. Although the pitches are the same it's a totally different perception and the perception is the key. We needed a few games [to get used to the new ground]. It is not the time to talk about that. It is not about individuals, it is about the club. I am calm and totally focused on the game. The only thing I am thinking about is the match against Spurs," Bilic told the Guardian.

Mauricio Pochettino: "We want to move the club to the last level. At the moment if we are capable of moving the club in the next few years to the last level you will see maybe the rumours will stop because when you compare Tottenham to - I don't know I want to be very respectful - to Manchester United or this type of club, you do not see the same sort of rumours as down here. Why? I think you know and we know, it is not a moment to talk but that is the situation. The real situation is we are working so hard. I try to explain to you that there is a lot of pride, because he (Daniel Levy) is the first who is creating a massive club for us and the fans because he is thinking to move - in the next few years - the club into the last level," Pochettino was quoted as saying by the Daily Mail.
