Who is Ronnie Pickering? The wit and wisdom of the Hull YouTube star and bare knuckle road rage sensation

Ronnie Pickering wants you to know his name. So much so that he is not afraid to repeatedly shout it at you or challenge you to a bare knuckle street fight so you remember him.

Sadly unless you spend a lot of time on the internet you've probably never heard of him. Pickering – or "Ronnie f****** Pickering" as he prefers – became an unlikely sensation on Monday 28 September after he was filmed exploding into foul-mouthed road rage at a bewildered moped driver.

Few expletives were left unused as Pickering turned the air blue with a tirade that included gems such as "Do you know who I am?", "Do you wanna go?" and "Come on, let's have a f****** bare knuckle then".

Not only was the whole incident caught on the driver's Go-Pro camera but it played out in front of his stone-faced wife, who remains silent throughout the clip and moves only to wind down her passenger window after Pickering decides he fancies a second attempt at goading the male driver into a fight.

Not much is known about Pickering but his social media pages show he has a (possibly long-suffering) wife, enjoys going on cruise holidays and carp fishing. He also owns a dog named Baxter. Driver: "What's your problem?"
Pickering: "You, you c***"
