Will Mariah Carey's ex-fiance James Packer be edited out of singer's reality show Mariah's World?
Carey was linked with Bryan Tanaka following her split with the Australian billionaire.
The latest trailer for Mariah Carey's series Mariah's World has been released by E! Network and not surprisingly, her ex-fiancé James Packer was missing from the whole clip. In the two-minute video, the pop diva was spotted getting cosy with her rumoured dancer fling Bryan Tanaka, pretty much hinting at why her former billionaire ex is out of the frame.
The Australian businessman has reportedly asked the network to edit footage featuring him from the reality series following his breakup with Carey. "He is demanding that E! and Carey remove him from all footage of Mariah's World. He wants E! to reopen all the footage they got off him and edit him out of the show," a source told ET Online.
However, editing him out might prove to be a costly affair as a major part of Mariah's World is about the 46-year-old singer's wedding plans with her then beau. Meanwhile, a source close to Packer rubbishes the rumours claiming the businessman is fully committed to his promises.
"The show hasn't even finished shooting. He has not asked to be taken out. It is totally false,"an insider close to Packer told the news outlet.
"He is reneging on every promise he has made her, including being on the show and getting her a beautiful house in Beverly Hills."
The preview of the highly anticipated series features multiple clips teasing the sizzling chemistry between the songstress and Tanaka. At one point, the dancer gushes about the beauty of his employer. "Looks good from over here," he tells his friend. Another crew member reveals Tanaka has a "huge crush on her".
The singer appeared happy around the backup dancer and her five-year-old twins throughout the promo. She was also spotted trying out bridal gowns hinting that E! might retain footage featuring Carey and Packer's future wedding, which is now cancelled.
It remains to be seen how much of airtime will be devoted to the abrupt end of the high profile relationship. Mariah's World premiere on 4 December on E! network.
