Will Superman be paired opposite Wonder Woman or Lois Lane in Dawn Of Justice? Henry Cavill weighs in

Batman v Superman: Dawn Of Justice will primarily focus on the grudge between the two superheroes but where does that leave the leading ladies? Will fans get to see a love triangle of sorts between Lois Lane, Wonder Woman and Supes?

During his recent interview with Cosmopolitan, actor Henry Cavill was asked about Superman's love interests and whether he should be with Lois Lane or Wonder Woman. Cavill revealed that the answer isn't quite as simple as it appears.

"This is a very long discussion because there are a lot of questions to be asked and answered," he explained. "I mean, who is better for a super-powered alien, a human or a goddess? Yes, the goddess can do all the normal things, which we would think are normal in a relationship, and not have any fear of Superman. But you also need to have that baseline of humanity, which Lois provides. And literally keeps his feet on the ground, keeps him down to earth. So that's more of a debate than an answer."

In the comics, Superman's most popular and longstanding love interest is Lois Lane. The romantic angle between the two was also established in Man Of Steel (2013). However, in the New 52 iteration of DC Comics, Superman is in a relationship with Wonder Woman. It remains to be seen if Superman gets all the ladies in Batman v Superman leaving the poor Bat brooding in one corner.
