Windows 10 for phones Technical Preview build 8.15.12492.41 seeded for internal testing
Microsoft has reportedly started seeding a Windows 10 for phones build to select testers.
The Windows 10 Technical Preview for phones with build version 8.15.12492.41 is now available for about one thousand testers, reports Neowin. This build is going through the final round of internal testing, to resolve bugs spotted here and there, before the preview build goes live.
The preview build for Windows 10 brings significant increase in terms of the OS version number to 8.15, as opposed to 8.10 in Windows Phone 8.1.
Updating the new build for Windows 10 phones shows an 'update successful' screen, suggesting that the update is completed. Besides, alongside the build number appears a quote that reads, "Every setback has a major comeback."
This could be a hint that the company is planning a resurgence with the Windows 10, the unified operating system across all platforms, after continuous setbacks over the past few years while trying to gain a strong foothold in the global smartphone market.
