Woman, 50, arrested on suspicion of attempted murder after two police officers are stabbed

A woman has been arrested on suspicion of attempted murder after two police officers were stabbed.
An altercation allegedly occurred after the officers were called to an address in Essex on Friday (1 December) at around 11pm.
One officer suffered a stab wound to the hand while the other was cut in the leg.
A 50-year-old woman was arrested following the incident near a house on Springfield Road, in Chelmsford.
The woman is being treated at Addenbrooke's Hospital in Cambridge, but her injuries are not believed to be life-threatening.
One officer is currently awaiting surgery while the other may have to be operated on again due to the severity of his injuries, Mail Online reports.
A cordon has been put in place around the property while police carry out their investigations.
