Overview

The Dutch proved once again to the world why they are ranked the best team in the world, beating hosts Great Britain 2-0 in their last game, thereby moving to the top of the table with six points from two games.

Netherlands' front line of attack kept Great Britain's goalkeeper Maddie Hinch busy and if not for her, the scoreline would be much higher. They are easily the favourites to win not only this game, but also the tournament.

USA, on the other hand come into this game in the worst way imaginable, getting thrashed by Argentina 4-1 on 19 June. Team USA have struggled so far in the tournament, finding themselves in fifth place on the points table.

Ranked number seven in the world, they are yet to register a win in London and it looks unlikely that they will break that duck against Netherlands on 21 June.
