World Cup 2014: Twitter Reacts To Germany's 7-1 Demolition of Brazil in Semi Final

As sure as Fred is terrible, Twitter was on hand last night to capitalise on Brazil's misfortune as the host nation of this year's Fifa World Cup crashed out of the tournament in embarassing style with a 7-1 loss to a rampant and ruthless Germany.
A ferocious first half saw Germany slip five past a shambolic Brazilian "defence" in the space of 18 minutes before Germany added two more in the second half. It was the biggest semi final loss a World Cup team has ever suffered.
A mix of disbelief and desperate clamouring to be the first to make a joke swept over Twitter as the social network proved its worth as a source of big laughs as world events unfold.
