Jeff Hardy reveals why he won't be performing the shooting star press in WWE
Hardy made the comments in recent Art of Wrestling podcast.
Jeff Hardy is back in the WWE along with his brother Matt after mesmerising Impact Wrestling fans with their "Broken Universe" and daredevilry.
Speaking about their high-flying antics, Jeff has revealed that he will not be performing one of his most extreme moves anymore due to a shoulder injury.
In a recent interview with Colt Cabana on The Art Of Wrestling, the wrestler said, "I don't do [the shooting star press] anymore, even the 450 splash."
"I was talking to [luchador star] Fénix at the show tonight and he's not doing the 450 anymore because he kind of over-rotated and bummed his shoulder out and that's the reason I stopped doing the 450 because I over-rotated and jacked my shoulder up.
"I thought I broke my collarbone or something, but those days are over, so I'll stick with the Swanton [Bomb]."
Before making a return to the WWE, the brothers were involved in a bitter feud with their former employer Impact Wrestling over the use of the "Broken" gimmick. The contretemps started after Jeff and Matt quit Impact Wrestling in February when contract renegotiations broke down.
The WWE Universe was left speechless when The Hardy Boyz made their surprise comeback at WrestleMania 33. They announced their return with a bang by winning the Fatal Four-Way Ladder Match for the Monday Night Raw Tag Team Championship. Since then the brothers have been ruling the red brand's tag team division and are currently in a middle of a feud with Sheamus and Cesaro.
