WWE NXT TakeOver The End results: Samoa Joe retains title, The Revival defeat American Alpha

WWE NXT TakeOver: The End saw some exciting matches that did not disappoint fans, who were also thrilled to witness promising new talents. The headlining matches for the event were for the NXT Championship, Tag Team Championship and Women's Championship titles.

The event took place in Winter Park, Florida, at Full Sail University on 8 June.

Lets check out the match results:

NXT Championship match:

The match took place inside a steel cage with Finn Balor trying to escape as the fight progressed. However, he was pulled down by Samoa Joe, who then inflicted a muscle buster off the second rope to retain the title.

NXT Tag Team Championship match:

The Revival defeated American Alpha to become the first two-time NXT Tag Team champions. The Revival beat the daylights out of American Alpha members Chad Gable and Jason Jordan before their win via pinfall.

In the middle of the fight, WWE Hall of Fame manager Paul Ellering walked onto the stage to observe the match. After the fight was over, new faces Selmani and Dhinsa, also known as The Authors of Pain, thrashed American Alpha. Ellering joined the duo after the attack on Gable and Jordan.

NXT Women's Championship match:

Asuka retained her title via pinfall over Nia Jax, who was thrashed with some serious kicks.

Shinsuke Nakamura vs Austin Aries:

Shinsuke Nakamura defeated Austin Aries via pinfall following Kinshasa.

Andrade 'Cien' Almas vs Tye Dillinger

Debutant Almas, formerly known as La Sombre, defeated Tye Dillinger via pinfall following a series of running knees to a seated Dillinger in the corner.
