WWE SmackDown results: Here's what happened between Charlotte and Naomi ahead of their fight

The latest episode of WWE SmackDown Live saw some exciting matches aired from the KFC Yum! Center in Louisville, Kentucky, on Tuesday (18 April). In the main card, fights took place for the number one contender to the WWE Championship and Women's Championship.

The show kicked off with Charlotte Flair entering the ring. She demanded she be granted a title fight. Charlotte said it has been seven days since she moved from Monday Night Raw to SmackDown Live in the "superstar shakeup".

Naomi entered the ring as she was not pleased with Charlotte calling herself queen of the blue brand. Naomi set her title aside and suddenly struck Charlotte with a forearm. The two stars brawled and ended up outside the ring, but the referee jumped in and stopped the fight.

Shane McMahon entered and asked the fans if they wanted to see the two stars fight. He then announced a fight between the two for #1 contender for a title match to be held next week.
